The Lion artwork on our label is taken from an advertisement  drawn by our great-great-Grandfather, J. Owen Greer, whose name appears in the scroll at the bottom of the poster. The poster, circa 1880, advertises his services to teach a form of handwriting, known as calligraphy, enhanced with a drawing style called "flourishing." The original poster, reproduced above, hangs over the mantle of our fireplace.
